Susan Goodkind Wideman, owner of the Wideman Law Center PC, began her elder law and disability rights practice in 2002. She currently serves over 1600 individuals and families throughout the Upper Peninsula and Northern Michigan. Ms. Wideman is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Marquette County Bar Association, and the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys. A graduate of the Thomas Cooley Law School, she has served on the boards of several senior-focused and state and community service organizations, including the Michigan Commission on Services to the Aging's State Advisory Council on Aging , the Marquette/Alger Alzheimer's Association Wraparound Program, and the Negaunee Township Planning Commission. A frequent presenter on "Ask the Lawyers" and the "Channel 6 Money Report," Ms. Wideman has had articles on elder law and estate planning issues appear in several local publications as well as authoring a section for the 2009 Institute of Continuing Legal Education about building an elder law practice.
